  1. Well thought out. Loved how you tied it into your major. I am sure you have thought about activities to let them learn the sports and how to play hands on. If the concept map is for a special education classroom, may want to clean up the concept map and make it more of the tree set up.

  2. Even though your map does have a lot of things on it, I think it is nice to have a full map instead of an empty page. I also really like how you tied your links went to pages where Special Ed. children can get involved.

  6. Morgan I know that sports are very important to children and I love how you incorporate special education into it also. I know that sports are not the easiest thing to teach in school but children love to get outside and to be active instead of stuck in the class room all day and it is something the kids would love! Good job!

  8. I love the fact that you are wanting to motivate students to be active. Most kids with special needs are stuck in a classroom all day, I think it is important to get them out of the classroom and get them moving. I also liked the fact that you gave resources to show them that they can play sports like other children and that their disability can't stop them from doing anything.

  9. I think this is a really good idea to teach students with disabilities. This is a good motivator for children with disabilities to learn they can fit in with students without disabilities. Your map is very colorful and fun!

  10. The map is a little busy and might be hard for special needs children to follow. I do like all of the colors. I like how you are trying to get special needs children involved in sports. I feel that they need that to gain life long friends.

  12. As a Special Ed. major, I was enlightened my your concept map because it portrays how children with disabilities can still participate in sports! Just because children have disabilities they still have ability to play sports, through accommodations/ modifications, and that's something that can inspire them and give them something to hope and strive for. You gave a great presentation and made a very cute concept map.

  13. At first I was confused with the layout. But after you spoke I understood where you were going. You plan to teach kids with disabilities about sports that they can play.

  14. It's a little crowded with the text notes included on the map. It would be better to close the text notes on the diagram because the notes can still be seen on the outline.

  15. The map is very hard to follow with things being all over the place. I do like the links you used to show them where they could get involved in a sport if they desire. This would be a great thing to teach special needs children though.

  16. I like the topic you picked, but it is a little too crowded. I would like if it was spread out a little bit more. I also like the links that you provided. I especially liked how one of the links is for special education students and how they can get involved in a sport.
